Small Bafang CAN control units (DP E170.CAN, E180.CAN and E181.CAN). They show codes with flashing lights instead of a number screen.
About the Bafang E170 / E180 / E181
- The E170 shows a code with its colored light: blue flashes give the first digit and cyan flashes give the second (2 blue + 5 cyan = 25). source
- The E180 and E181 flash their level 1 and level 2 lights at about once per second to show a code. source
- Bafang's manuals say: when an error code appears, first restart the system. If it doesn't go away, contact your dealer. source
